The device is designed for the conversion and transmission of data using modern fiber optic cables, which eliminates the limitations typical of traditional copper wiring. The use of fiber optic technology brings a number of key advantages. First of all, it guarantees full galvanic isolation between connected segments of the system, which effectively protects devices against the effects of surges, lightning discharges, and potential differences.
