Description

The wireless dual APMD-250 (Motion Detector Plus) is a top-class property protection solution, designed to operate within the two-way wireless system ABAX 2 and ABAX. This device combines two independent detection methods: passive infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW) detection. This combination allows for the elimination of false alarms caused by rapid temperature changes or air currents, making it an ideal choice for difficult environmental conditions such as garages, boutiques, or summer houses.

Specification

The biggest advantage of the detector is its reliability and operating range. In the ABAX 2 system, radio communication can take place over a distance of up to 2000 meters in an open area, which allows for the protection of very large facilities. The device also features an advanced energy management system, which, in combination with an efficient CR123A lithium battery, allows it to operate for up to 2 years without the need for replacement. The detector offers full remote configuration and firmware updates, which significantly facilitates the work of the installer. Additionally, the APMD-250 model has an approach zone control function and tamper protection against opening the enclosure and detaching it from the surface, ensuring full security of the alarm system.

Software and Configuration

The ABAX 2 system software offers advanced remote management capabilities for the APMD-250 detector.
