Software
Recording mode: Manual - recording via manual start, Continuous - continuous recording for one camera or multiple cameras, According to schedule - Recording at a specific time cyclically (e.g., Monday - Friday from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Saturdays from 09.00 to 13.00). According to events from alarm sensors or motion detection. According to events - Manually set recording at a precisely specified time (e.g., from 26.12.2007 21.00 to 27.12.2007 22.00)
Image compression
H.264 (This is the best encoding used in industrial television. It allows for significant space savings on the hard drive.)
Image monitoring
Screen layout: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 12 video channels.
Live monitoring of recorded cameras.
Monitoring of saved video materials and BACKUP
Browsing recording archives. Searching for recordings. Browsing recording archives is possible on several program screens simultaneously (e.g., you can browse recordings from 16 cameras at once). You can increase the playback speed of recordings (1x, 2x, ... 8x). Recordings made in motion detection mode are marked in red (this facilitates browsing recordings).
Recordings can be saved to AVI files (accessible from any movie player program), snapshot the video sequence to a graphic JPG file, or print video sequences.
Color settings for each camera: brightness of recorded image, contrast, saturation, color hue (color, black and white, sepia...)
Recordings can be saved to any number of hard drives. There are no limits to just one partition. In case of disk space filling, the system will automatically start overwriting old recordings or, if defined, record on another hard drive available to the program.
The program saves events in logs. They can be viewed through the server program. Events can be sorted by types (e.g., recording from detection, loss of signal from the camera...) This facilitates, for example, browsing motion detection events, checking who logged into the server and when, or who connected remotely to the server.
