Its software and operating logic are embedded in the hardware layer of the XPOE-6-11-OF module. A key hardware-controlled functionality is the intelligent Long Range mode, which optimizes transmission parameters to achieve a distance of 280m. Additionally, the device performs the function of automatic detection of PoE receivers compliant with the 802.3af/at standard, which prevents damage to devices that do not support power over the network cable. Power management for individual ports is performed physically using configuration jumpers on the module's motherboard.
