Description

The K641+-W2W keypad is an advanced control device designed specifically for use with modern PARADOX Digiplex EVO series alarm control panels. Equipped with a clear 2x16 character alphanumeric LCD display, it offers the user full control over the security system in an extremely intuitive and comfortable way.

One of the main advantages of this model is the blue backlight, which not only gives the device a modern look but, above all, ensures excellent readability of messages in all lighting conditions. Thanks to text-based information, the user does not need to remember complicated blinking LED codes – all events, errors, and system states are described directly on the screen.

The keypad offers a range of features to increase security, including dedicated buttons for triggering immediate alarms: PANIC, FIRE, and MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. The device allows for independent management of multiple partitions, which is crucial in large office buildings or multi-family homes. The keypad has 1 physical input for an alarm zone, which saves on wiring to the control panel. Additionally, it is equipped with 1 programmable PGM output, which can be activated by system events.

Communication Bus

Connection is made via a standard 4-wire Paradox communication bus, ensuring stable data exchange over long distances.

Sound Signaling

A built-in piezoelectric transducer signals entry, exit, delay times, and chime zone violations with sound. It is possible to independently define sounds for different events.

Personalization

The user has the ability to smoothly adjust the brightness of the LEDs and screen, display contrast, and the speed at which text messages scroll on the screen.
