Software architecture and features

The built-in firmware provides fully automatic network traffic management and PoE power distribution. The port prioritization algorithm monitors power consumption in real-time, protecting the system from the effects of overloads – if there is a lack of power, the system cuts off power to lower-priority ports. The control logic supports Auto-learning and Auto-aging of MAC addresses, allowing for error-free packet routing on the local network. Implementation of Full Duplex (IEEE802.3x) and Half Duplex (Back Pressure) data flow control minimizes the risk of data frame loss. The Auto MDI/MDI-X detection function automatically adjusts the operating mode to the type of cable used, eliminating the need for crossover cables.
