The built-in firmware provides fully automatic network traffic management and PoE energy distribution. The port prioritization algorithm monitors power consumption in real time, protecting the system from the effects of overload – in the event of a power shortage, the system cuts off power to lower-priority ports. The control logic supports Auto-learning and Auto-aging functions for MAC addresses, which allows for error-free packet routing in the local network. The implementation of Full Duplex (IEEE802.3x) and Half Duplex (Back Pressure) data flow control minimizes the risk of data frame loss. The Auto MDI/MDI-X detection function automatically adjusts the operating mode to the type of cable used, eliminating the need to use crossover cables.
