Description

RS232 to Ethernet converters used for transparent data transmission. RS-232 serial port to Ethernet converter, which is responsible for two-way transmission between RS232 (transparent) and Ethernet. The converter is internally integrated with the TCP/IP protocol. The user can apply it for network communication of a device.

The converter allows you to send RS-232 data over the network. It can support any device such as scales, cash registers, fiscal printers, PLC controllers, etc.

Simply connect the converter to the RS232 port, e.g. a fiscal printer, and to the local network, and install a program on the computer that will create a virtual serial port (COM1 COM2...). At this point, it will be possible to operate, for example, a fiscal printer via the local network.

Several computers can use the device connected to the converter simultaneously (e.g. several computers can use one fiscal printer)
