Description

The float liquid level sensor (switch) is a reliable solution designed for precise liquid level monitoring in tanks. The device is designed for side mounting from the outside of the tank, which significantly facilitates installation thanks to the sealing flange and a solid M16 thread with a nut. The probe is extremely versatile – depending on the installation method, it can control both the upper and lower liquid levels, acting as an overflow sensor or dry-run protection.

Specification

The device's technical data includes a maximum switching voltage of up to 300V AC/DC and a current of up to 0.5A, with a maximum switching power of 50W. A wide operating temperature range from -10 to +85 °C ensures that the sensor will work in most industrial and domestic installations. The connecting cable length is 30 cm, and the seal tightness is guaranteed by the included black gasket. The contact configuration NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) is configurable by reversing the float or changing the installation orientation by 180 degrees.

The heart of the device is a float with a built-in magnet. Due to the liquid buoyancy, the float moves along the tube, which causes the hermetic reed switch built inside to close or open. This design guarantees durability and resistance to harsh working conditions. The sensor is made of high-quality polypropylene (PP), which allows it to be used in contact with various substances such as water, sewage or oils.
