The VELA thermoelectric actuator operates based on a wax element which, under the influence of voltage supplied from the control strip or thermostat, expands, causing the pin to move and the valve to open. The device does not have its own digital interface, however, it is fully integrated with the AURATON control ecosystem. It works with wired control strips that manage the logic of opening and closing loops based on readings from temperature sensors. Thanks to a precise 3.6 mm stroke, the actuator ensures optimal water flow regulation, which allows for stable maintenance of the set temperature in the room without sudden heat spikes. The control system to which the actuator is connected can offer advanced functions such as time schedules, holiday modes, and frost protection, implemented through a master room controller or a central strip.
