The main advantage of the device is the fully automatic charging process controlled by a precise microprocessor. The user does not need to worry about overcharging the battery – once full capacity is reached, the charger switches to maintenance mode, which significantly extends the life of the cells. A clear LCD display provides real-time information on current voltage, current intensity, and process progress, giving full control over the state of the serviced battery.
Operational safety is a priority in the design of the MW-SC4E. The device is equipped with a series of protections: short-circuit, overvoltage, thermal, and reverse polarity protection. Additionally, the regeneration function allows for restoring efficiency even to heavily worn units, and the desulfation mode helps combat lead plate sulfation. A robust housing with an IP65 ingress protection rating allows for safe operation in difficult conditions, both inside the workshop and outdoors, protecting the electronics from dust and splashing. This is professional equipment that combines ease of use with advanced diagnostic technology and reliability in all operating conditions.
An additional advantage is the ability to test the alternator and starter, which allows for quick diagnosis of vehicle starting system problems without the need to visit a specialized service center. Long power and output cables (a total of nearly 3 meters of reach) ensure comfort of work even with difficult access to a power outlet or battery terminals. Insulated alligator clips guarantee a secure grip and eliminate the risk of accidental short circuits during connection.

Software and control logic
The control software implemented in the integrated microprocessor of the MW-SC4E charger executes an advanced, multi-stage charging algorithm that dynamically and autonomously adjusts output parameters to the current condition and type of the connected battery. The device's operating system automatically performs nominal voltage detection (6V or 12V) and identifies cell technology, which minimizes the risk of user error. The software logic includes precise phases: desulfation, soft start, bulk charging, absorption charging, as well as testing the ability to hold a charge and a final maintenance (float) phase. The software continuously monitors the internal temperature of the circuits and electrical parameters at the terminals, reacting in milliseconds to detected anomalies such as short circuits, overloads, or reverse polarity. Additionally, the built-in diagnostic module allows for testing the efficiency of the alternator and the performance of the vehicle's starter, presenting results directly on the LCD interface. An intuitive menu allows for easy switching between slow (1A) and fast (4A) charging modes, ensuring optimal conditions for small and large capacities.
