Description

The CS-HB-45W multifunctional CCTV tester is a professional service tool designed for video surveillance system installers. The device is equipped with a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800x480 px, which provides a clear image preview and intuitive menu operation. The tester supports a wide range of video standards, including AHD, HD-CVI, HD-TVI (up to 8 Mpx) and the classic analog CVBS signal (PAL/NTSC). Thanks to the built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module and two LAN ports, the device enables full diagnostics of IP cameras, including searching for devices compatible with the ONVIF protocol.

The advantages of this model include advanced diagnostic functions, such as UTP cable testing, fault location (TDR reflectometer for UTP), and RS-485 serial port monitoring. The tester also acts as a power source, offering a 12V DC (3A) output and PoE (48V, 25.5W) power, which allows for powering the camera directly from the tester during installation work. The built-in software supports numerous mobile applications from CCTV system manufacturers, making it indispensable in daily work. The device is powered by an efficient Li-Poly battery, providing up to 6 hours of operation, and the whole unit is enclosed in a handy protective case.

Software

The tester has a built-in system environment with access to the Google Chrome browser and dedicated diagnostic tools. The software allows for image preview from IP cameras using built-in applications such as iVMS-4500 HD, EZView, gDMSS HD Lite, XMEye, MEye, FreeIP PRO, Safire EasyView, Fseye, and manufacturer tools (Tiandy, Dahua, Hikvision, UNV, Huawei). The system supports virtual IPC, bitrate calculator, IP address scanner, and link testing using ICMP (PING) packets. The user interface is fully graphical and touch-operated, which allows for quick configuration of network parameters, control of PTZ cameras, and real-time monitoring of the RS-485 serial port. The software also allows for video recording to a micro SD card and projecting the tester screen onto a phone or computer (Tester Play).
