One of the key advantages of the MC220P model is the integrated PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) function compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards. Thanks to this, the converter can deliver up to 30W of power directly to the connected end device, such as a modern IP camera, VoIP phone, or Wi-Fi access point. This eliminates the need for additional power cabling, which significantly reduces installation costs and simplifies system architecture.
The device is equipped with a universal SFP slot supporting speeds up to 1.25 Gbps. This allows the installer full freedom in selecting the appropriate fiber optic module (SFP mini-GBIC), matched to the specific type of fiber (single-mode or multi-mode) and the required transmission range.
