The SPW-250-O siren has a built-in microcontroller with dedicated software controlling alarm logic and intelligent energy management. The software algorithm precisely monitors the status of power inputs and tamper sensors in real time. In case of detecting a breach of the tamper circuit continuity, the software immediately triggers an acoustic sequence. Additionally, the software manages automatic switching of power sources – in the event of a loss of main 12V DC voltage during an alarm, the system smoothly switches to power from the CR123A battery, which prevents silencing the siren by cutting cables. The software also optimizes the sound modulation of the piezoelectric transducer for maximum volume.
