Software and interface
The camera has a built-in WEB server allowing for full configuration of the device via a web browser. Mobile access is provided through the free Hik-Connect application (Android/iOS), which allows for live viewing, playback of recordings, and receiving push notifications about alarm events. For PCs, the dedicated iVMS-4200 software is used for advanced management of multiple devices simultaneously, creating video walls, and configuring advanced image analysis rules. The system supports cloud access (P2P), which eliminates the need for a public IP address. The software offers features such as: WDR 120dB (wide dynamic range), 3D-DNR (digital noise reduction), ROI (region of interest enhancement), BLC/HLC (light compensation), privacy zones (8), video tampering detection, and NAS support.
