The wireless CDS-6IP-3POE module is an advanced solution dedicated to video transmission for megapixel Full HD and 4K IP cameras and recorders. The device functions as both a transmitter and a receiver in a single module (transceiver), which significantly simplifies the installation and configuration of the monitoring system. Thanks to the use of 64/128/152-bit identification code encryption, the system guarantees a high level of security, effectively protecting the transmission against unauthorized viewing by third parties.
The device is equipped with an integrated dual 5GHz MIMO antenna with a gain of 2 x 13 dBi, which allows for precise tuning and high-quality signal acquisition even at varying distances. The built-in PoE switch allows for powering up to 3 external devices in accordance with the IEEE 802.3 af/at or Passive PoE 48V standard, which eliminates the need for additional power supplies at the cameras. The CDS-6IP-3POE module itself can be powered via Passive PoE or a switch compliant with the IEEE 802.3 at standard. The advantage of the device is its operation in the 5.8 GHz band, which ensures transmission free from interference generated by standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth, or radio telephony. A robust housing with an IP55 ingress protection rating allows for installation in difficult outdoor conditions, ensuring reliability in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 70°C.
