Description

The Hikvision DS-2CD2347G2-L(2.8mm)(C) ColorVu series IP camera is a breakthrough solution in video surveillance that guarantees a colourful and detailed image 24 hours a day, even in total darkness. By using an extremely sensitive 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and a built-in white LED light with a range of up to 30 metres, the device eliminates the need for a black-and-white mode, which allows for much easier identification of people, vehicles, and other important environmental details, such as clothing colours or licence plates. 4 MP resolution (2688 x 1520) ensures crystal-clear image quality, and modern H.265+ compression algorithm significantly reduces hard drive storage space and bandwidth requirements while maintaining the highest recording quality.

Specification

The device has been designed for maximum reliability in harsh environmental conditions. The sturdy aluminium and plastic housing has an IP67 protection rating, which ensures full protection against dust and strong water jets, allowing for trouble-free operation outside buildings in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C. The camera supports advanced image enhancement functions, such as WDR (130 dB), which effectively handles overexposure and deep shadows, and 3D-DNR, which minimises digital noise. An additional advantage is AcuSense technology, which allows for intelligent object classification (humans/vehicles), drastically reducing the number of false alarms triggered by rain, leaves, or small animals. Power can be supplied both via a standard 12V DC power adapter and via PoE technology (802.3af), which simplifies cable installation.

Hik-Connect / iVMS Software
