The MAP-2ND (mAP) access point is an extremely compact and versatile network device that broadcasts a fourth-generation Wi-Fi wireless network in the 2.4 GHz band at speeds up to 300 Mb/s. Despite its small size, the device offers immense configuration and functional capabilities typical of professional network solutions. The primary application areas for this model are small and medium-sized offices, as well as single-family homes and apartments where discretion and performance are valued.
One of the key advantages of the MAP-2ND is its flexibility in terms of power supply. The device can be powered in three ways: via a DC jack, passive PoE or standard PoE 802.3af/at, as well as through a Micro USB port. Furthermore, the mAP can act as a PoE power source for other devices – the second Ethernet port allows for powering an external receiver with a maximum load of up to 500 mA, which eliminates the need for additional power adapters in the installation.
