Description

The wired controller is an advanced electronic device designed for precise management of underfloor heating systems in modern buildings. The main task of the strip is to coordinate the operation of thermostatic actuators mounted on the manifold, which allows for independent temperature regulation in up to 10 different heating zones. Thanks to this solution, the user gains full control over thermal comfort in each room separately, which translates into significant energy savings.

The device operates based on signals transmitted from room regulators. When the temperature in a given zone drops below the set value, the controller opens the appropriate actuators, starting the flow of the heating medium. Once the desired temperature is reached, the actuators are closed. The strip is equipped with a number of intelligent functions, such as underfloor pump support and a voltage-free contact that can control the operation of a boiler or other heat source. Solid construction and wired communication guarantee the highest operational stability without the interference typical of wireless systems.

Software and control logic

The built-in control algorithm manages heating priorities and contact switching logic. The strip software monitors the status of all 10 zones in real time. If a demand for heat is detected in any zone, the system first opens the appropriate thermostatic valves, and then after the programmed delay time (2 minutes) starts the circulation pump and sends a signal to the heat source via the voltage-free contact. Such a sequence prevents the pump from running with closed valves (so-called dry running or blocked flow). The controller logic also allows for cooperation with various types of room regulators, automatically recognizing the two-state signal (close/open). The system is designed to minimize electricity consumption by turning off unnecessary receivers when all zones are heated.
