Infrared Barriers
Reliable Perimeter Protection. Infrared barriers (IR barriers) are a key element of professional alarm systems used for perimeter protection, securing the boundary of a property, business premises, storage yard, or fence. They consist of a transmitter and a receiver that create an invisible "wall" of infrared beams. Operating Principle: The transmitter emits one or more (e.g., 2, 4, 6) infrared beams toward the receiver. Interruption of any of these beams by an intruder triggers an alarm.
