A key advantage of this model is the integrated support for two operating states – NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed). The use of three output wires allows the installer to instantly adapt the sensor to the requirements of a specific alarm control panel, such as Satel, Bosch, Elmes, or DSC. This versatility significantly reduces inventory costs and simplifies the installation design process.
The reliability of the device is based on the use of ruthenium (Ru) coated contacts. Ruthenium is a precious metal with exceptional resistance to oxidation and mechanical wear, which guarantees millions of trouble-free switching cycles. Unlike cheaper alternatives, the sensor maintains its electrical parameters for many years, eliminating the risk of false alarms.
Another significant advantage is the wide operating gap of up to 20 mm. This allows for stable system operation even in situations where the door or window leaf becomes slightly warped or sags on its hinges. The solid housing made of high-quality ABS plastic protects the delicate internal components from mechanical damage and the influence of variable weather conditions, which, combined with a wide operating temperature range (from -25°C to +85°C), allows for installation in unheated facilities, such as garages or warehouses.

A professional side magnetic sensor (reed switch) is an indispensable component of modern security systems and advanced building automation. The device is designed for discreet and effective protection of entry points, such as doors and windows, made of both wood and plastic (PVC). Thanks to its elegant brown housing, the sensor blends perfectly with darker joinery, remaining almost invisible to unauthorised persons.

Additional Information
Operating principle: What is the difference between NO and NC?
A reed switch is a switch controlled by a magnetic field. The "Normal" state always defines the behaviour of the sensor at rest – that is, when the magnet is away.
Type NO (Normally Open): * Without magnet: The circuit is broken (no current flow, resistance ∞ Ω).
With magnet: Bringing the magnet close to the sensor (e.g., closing a window) closes the circuit (resistance 0 Ω).
Type NC (Normally Closed): * Without magnet: The circuit is closed (current flows, resistance 0 Ω).
With magnet: Bringing the magnet close to the sensor breaks the circuit (resistance ∞ Ω).
The sensor outputs 3 wires (brown – common, and two white for dedicated NO and NC outputs), which allows the installer to select the desired mode during connection.
