Software and management
The device works with the Hikvision ecosystem. Management is carried out via the Hik-Connect mobile application (available on Android/iOS) and iVMS-4200 client software for PCs. The Hik-Connect application enables remote call answering, real-time video preview, and remote door opening. The iVMS-4200 software is an extensive security management system allowing for full configuration of reader parameters, adding users, assigning proximity cards, and viewing event logs and entry history. The system also supports push notifications for alarm events.
