Description

Digital DVB-T/T2 terrestrial television receiver with support for the HbbTV hybrid television standard, which combines typical television signal broadcasting with multimedia content delivered to the TV via broadband Internet. The decoder is fully compatible with the DVB-T2 standard encoded with the H.265/HEVC 10bit codec, representing a new generation of television transmission and providing access to the latest high-quality channels. The analog EURO/SCART connector enables seamless cooperation with older-type televisions that do not have a digital input, including CRT TVs. Using the HDMI connector, the user can deliver a full HD quality signal to the TV. The SPDIF COAXIAL digital audio output allows the tuner to be connected to a home theater system, enabling the playback of multichannel audio in the Dolby Digital Plus E-AC-3 standard. The LAN port enables a stable wired connection to an Ethernet network, and with the use of an optional WLAN/USB card, the device gains access to a wireless Wi-Fi network. The device works perfectly as a multimedia player, supporting photos, music, and movies in SD and HD resolutions. The USB port allows for recording video materials (PVR function) on external data carriers, such as HDD hard drives or flash drives, making it a versatile home entertainment center.

Software and functions

The device has a built-in operating system with an OSD menu in English, allowing for full configuration of terrestrial television reception parameters. The software supports the HbbTV 2.0.1 standard, which allows access to interactive multimedia content, VOD services, and additional information provided by television broadcasters. The system offers advanced channel list management (5000 positions), including creating favorite lists, editing, and sorting by LCN. The PVR function allows recording programs to USB media with timer support. The software also supports playback of multimedia files (AVI, MKV, MP4, VOB, TS, MT2S, FLV, MPG, 3GP, MOV) and viewing photos (JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF). Software updates are possible both via the USB port and directly via the Internet. The system includes parental control, teletext support, subtitles, and audio description. The Montage MS2456 processor combined with 512MB of DDR3 memory ensures smooth interface operation and fast channel switching.
