Description

The GTX SPT-POE/12V6A PoE splitter is a professional device powered directly from the PoE line in 802.3at and 802.3bt standards, which effectively reduces the voltage to a stable 12V DC level at the output. It is an ideal solution in situations where there is a need to power devices incompatible with Power over Ethernet technology, such as advanced access points, IP cameras without a PoE module, or IP phones, in places lacking traditional 230V network sockets.

The device is characterized by a high output power of up to 60W (with the possibility of a momentary load of up to 72W), which allows for powering even the most demanding receivers. The power output has been duplicated – the user has at their disposal a standard 2.1/5.5 mm DC plug and a convenient terminal with screw clamps, which significantly facilitates installation in various conditions. Thanks to the support for the Gigabit Ethernet standard (10/100/1000 Mbps), the splitter does not limit network throughput, ensuring lightning-fast data transmission.

The device logic is based on a hardware implementation of IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards, which ensures full automation of the power negotiation process with the power sourcing equipment (PSE). As a result, the splitter intelligently communicates with the PoE switch, drawing exactly the amount of energy required for the stable operation of the connected 12V receiver, eliminating the risk of equipment damage.
