The UT-18C voltage and phase sequence tester is an advanced measuring tool from UNI-T, designed for professional electricians, installers, and demanding home users. This versatile device allows for precise measurement of alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) voltages in a wide range from 12V up to 690V. Thanks to built-in automation, the measurement process is extremely intuitive – simply touch the probes to the measurement points, and the device will instantly select the appropriate range and display the result.
The greatest advantage of the UT-18C model is its dual user information system. Results are presented on a clear LCD display while simultaneously indicated by bright LEDs located in the upper part of the housing, allowing for quick reading even in difficult lighting conditions. The device offers a range of functions critical for the safety and diagnostics of electrical installations. It enables continuity testing with an audible signal, DC voltage polarity detection, and, crucially for three-phase systems, phase sequence determination and phase shift measurement.
Work safety is enhanced by the Residual Current Device (RCD) test function, which allows for controlled tripping of the protection to verify its functionality. Additionally, the tester is equipped with an integrated LED flashlight, making it indispensable when working in switchboards and poorly lit rooms. The robust housing with an ergonomic shape ensures a secure grip and resistance to mechanical damage, which translates into a long service life for the instrument even with intensive use in construction conditions.
