Description

The PFT1300 device is an innovative PoE extender that revolutionizes the way IP monitoring systems are designed and expanded. Thanks to this compact solution, the user gains the ability to connect two IP cameras with PoE power using only a single Ethernet cable line. This is an ideal solution in situations where adding extra cabling is difficult, expensive, or technically impossible.

The main advantage of the device is its full passivity in terms of external power – the extender draws energy directly from a PoE switch or injector compliant with the 802.3af/at standard. This means that neither the device itself nor the cameras connected to it require additional electrical outlets at the installation site. This allows for significant savings in time and installation costs.

Another advantage is the possibility of cascading. By using two such devices, it is possible to transmit signal and power to three cameras over a distance exceeding the standard 100 meters. A solid housing made of high-quality plastic and the possibility of mounting on a DIN rail (TS-35) make the PFT1300 perfect for professional RACK cabinets and installation boxes. The device supports 10/100 Base-T standards, ensuring stable data transmission for modern video systems. Additionally, built-in surge protection protects connected equipment from sudden voltage spikes, which is crucial for the durability of the network infrastructure.

Thanks to full compliance with IEEE standards, the extender works with any mobile application for camera viewing (e.g., DMSS, gDMSS) and professional software such as Smart PSS or DSS. The lack of a configuration interface eliminates the risk of network setting errors and speeds up the system startup process. It also works with VMS systems from other manufacturers without affecting video stream quality or intelligent image analysis functions performed by the cameras.
