1 Purpose and Functions
The professional wireless magnetic sensor (reed switch) ACTii AC1741 is an advanced security device designed to protect homes, offices, garages, and retail outlets. The system consists of a main unit with a built-in 105dB siren and a wireless remote control. The device reacts to the opening of a door or window, which breaks the magnetic circuit and instantly triggers an alarm or a welcome signal.
Due to its versatility, the product serves two key roles: an effective intruder deterrent in alarm mode and a practical entrance bell in chime mode, notifying you of arriving customers or guests. The system is characterized by exceptional resistance to environmental conditions and ease of use, making it an ideal solution for users looking for a reliable and non-invasive security system.

Available operating modes:
The device offers four main functions controlled via the remote:
- Arming Mode: Activates full protection; opening the door/window triggers a loud siren.
- Disarming Mode: Deactivates alarm functions, allowing free use of the entrance.
- SOS Mode (Panic): Instant triggering of the siren in situations of danger to life or health.
- Chime Mode (Doorbell): Generates a gentle sound signal every time the door is opened.

3 Installation and Mounting
Preparation for operation:
- Open the battery cover on the main unit and insert two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Ensure the battery in the remote (12V 27A) is functional (it is factory installed).
- Test the device operation before final bonding by moving the magnet closer to and away from the sensor.
Physical mounting:
The device is mounted using the included double-sided tapes. Follow the guidelines below:
- Surface: The mounting location must be clean, dry, and degreased.
- Positioning: Mount the main unit (sensor) on the door/window frame, and the smaller element (magnet) on the moving part of the door/window.
- Operating gap: The distance between the sensor and the magnet in the closed position cannot exceed 20 mm.
- Alignment: The arrows on the housings of both elements should face each other.
4 Operation and Configuration
Remote control operation:
- Closed padlock: Arming. Once pressed, the device will emit a short beep. From this moment, opening the door will trigger a 30-second alarm.
- Open padlock: Disarming. Turns off the alarm or chime mode.
- Lightning / SOS: Panic alarm. Immediate triggering of the siren regardless of arming state.
- Bell: Chime Mode. The device will sound a "Ding-Dong" signal every time the door is opened.
Pairing additional remotes:
The ACTii AC1741 system can be expanded with additional remotes (model AC1451). To pair a new remote:
- Remove one battery from the main unit.
- Insert the battery back and immediately press the arm button on the new remote.
- A long beep will confirm successful pairing.
5 Safety and Maintenance
Important warnings:
- Hearing protection: The siren generates a 105dB sound. Do not bring the device close to your ears while testing.
- Application: The device is designed for indoor use. Avoid direct contact with water.
- Batteries: Use only high-quality batteries. Exhausted batteries can leak and damage the electronics.
- Maintenance: Once a month, check the system's operation and battery charge status (the LED will start to glow dimmer when batteries are nearly depleted).
The product complies with EU safety standards (CE) and the RoHS directive limiting the use of hazardous substances in electronic equipment. Used equipment should be taken to an electrical waste collection point.
