1 Purpose and Functions

The ACTii AC3463 wireless switch is a high-quality single-channel radio relay designed for remote control of 230V electric devices. The device allows for convenient switching of receivers on and off using the included radio remote control, which eliminates the need for complex wiring to traditional wall switches.

The system is widely used for controlling lighting (lamps), A/V equipment (televisions), electric motors, fans, and home automation systems such as electric door, lock, or window controls. Thanks to coded transmission (433MHz frequency), each remote is assigned to a specific switch, which ensures no interference when using multiple sets in one location.

Operating principle and pairing:

The device operates based on 433MHz radio transmission. Pressing the appropriate button on the remote sends a signal to the relay module, which closes or opens the circuit powering the connected device. The remote and switch are factory paired, ensuring immediate readiness for operation after unboxing and correct installation.

The device has leads that must be connected according to the description below:

Installation sequence:

1. Switch off the fuses in the circuit where the switch will be installed.
2. Check for lack of voltage on the wires using a voltage tester.
3. Connect the power supply wires (Red L, Black N) to the home installation.
4. Connect the output wires (Blue L, Black N) to the receiver (e.g., a lamp).
5. Secure the connections with electrical terminal blocks or appropriate insulation.
6. Place the module in the junction box or device housing.
7. Turn on the power and test functionality using the remote.

4 Operation and Usage

Remote control:

The remote has dedicated buttons for managing the relay state:

• Button ON/A: Switches the connected device on.
• Button OFF/B: Switches the connected device off.

Battery replacement:

If the remote's range significantly decreases or the LED on the remote stops glowing, the battery must be replaced. The remote is powered by one 23A 12V type battery. To replace the battery, carefully open the remote housing, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) when inserting the new cell.

Wall mount:

The set includes a holder that can be screwed or glued to the wall, providing a permanent and convenient storage place for the remote.

5 Safety and Maintenance

• ● Do not exceed the maximum load of 1000W. Overloading can lead to permanent damage to the relay or fire.
• ● The device is intended for indoor use. It should be protected against moisture, water, and extreme temperatures.
• ● If damage to the housing or wires is found, disconnect the device from the power supply immediately.
• ● Do not open the relay module housing while it is connected to the 230V mains.
• ● Keep out of reach of children.
