The ACTii AC5015 infrared spotlight is a professional outdoor illuminator designed for use with closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The device utilizes modern IR ARRAY LED technology, which offers significantly higher power, better light distribution, and longer lifespan compared to standard infrared LEDs. The illuminator is the ideal solution for areas where standard camera lighting is insufficient, enabling effective observation in total darkness at distances of up to 50 meters.

Automation and Control
The device operates in a fully automatic mode. An integrated twilight sensor monitors the ambient light level. When lighting falls below the operating threshold, the spotlight automatically activates the IR LEDs. Once optimal light conditions return (daytime), the illuminator is turned off, which significantly extends the life of the LEDs and reduces energy consumption.

3 Installation and Assembly
Mechanical assembly:
The spotlight is equipped with a dedicated aluminum stand measuring 162x60x4mm, which allows for stable attachment of the device to a wall, ceiling, or directly to an industrial camera mount. Mounting screws are included to facilitate installation.
- Choose a mounting location that ensures optimal coverage of the area monitored by the camera.
- Ensure that the twilight sensor is not obstructed or directed directly at a strong artificial light source, as this could disrupt its operation.
- Configure the tilt angle of the spotlight so that the center of the infrared beam coincides with the center of the camera frame.
Power connection:
The device requires a stable 12V DC power supply. It is recommended to use a power supply with a current capacity of at least 1500mA (1.5A) to ensure stable operation of the ARRAY LEDs at full power.
- Connect the power adapter plug to the 2.1/5.5mm socket at the end of the 50cm spotlight cable.
- Secure the connection against moisture by using mounting boxes or self-vulcanizing electrical tape (especially for outdoor mounting).
4 Safety and Maintenance
Important safety instructions:
- Warning: The spotlight emits strong infrared (IR) radiation, which is invisible to the human eye but can be harmful if looking directly at the LEDs from close proximity. Do not stare into operating ARRAY LEDs.
- Disconnect the power supply completely before performing installation or maintenance.
- Use only power supplies with parameters consistent with the specification (12V DC). Using higher voltage can permanently damage the device.
- The device housing may heat up during long-term operation – this is a normal phenomenon resulting from heat dissipation from high-power LEDs.
Maintenance:
To maintain maximum illumination range and effectiveness, the tempered glass front of the spotlight should be cleaned periodically. Dirt, dust, or streaks can scatter the infrared light and limit camera visibility. Use a soft cloth and mild glass detergents for cleaning.
