1 Purpose and Functions
The Matrix Switch Splitter HDMI 4x2 model ACTii AC4039 is a professional multimedia device designed for advanced high-resolution video signal management. The device allows for routing the signal from four independent Ultra HD sources (such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, satellite decoders, or computers) to two 4K Ultra HD displays (televisions, projectors, monitors). Thanks to the matrix functionality, each output can display an image from the same source or from completely different inputs at the same time.
The device supports 3D technology and resolutions up to 4K (3840x2160), providing a crystal clear image. The integrated intelligent EDID management system guarantees maximum compatibility with diverse receivers by automatically optimizing the transmitted signal parameters. Additionally, the matrix is equipped with a digital S/PDIF (coaxial) audio output, which allows for outputting high-quality audio to external audio systems.

3 Safety Instructions
ATTENTION: Adhere to the following rules to avoid electric shock or device damage:
- The device is intended exclusively for indoor use in dry areas.
- Use only the included 5V 1A power adapter. Using an adapter with different parameters may permanently damage the electronics.
- Do not block ventilation openings or place the device in enclosed spaces without adequate air circulation.
- Protect from moisture, water, and other liquids. In case of spills, immediately disconnect the power.
- Do not open the housing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- HDMI cables should be connected and disconnected while the devices are powered off to avoid port damage from electrostatic discharge.
4 Installation and Configuration
Connecting the device:
- Connect up to four HDMI signal sources (e.g., console, PC) to the input ports labeled HDMI IN 1-4.
- Connect up to two displays (e.g., TV, monitor) to the output ports labeled HDMI OUT A and HDMI OUT B.
- (Optional) Connect a coaxial cable to the S/PDIF output to send audio to an AV receiver.
- Connect the supplied 5V DC power adapter to the power input on the matrix, and then to a wall socket.
- Turn on the signal sources and the displays.
EDID Management:
The device features an intelligent EDID system that automatically negotiates the best common resolution supported by connected devices. This helps you avoid issues with no image on one of the screens with lower specifications.
