1 Purpose and Functions
The set of two ACTii AC4127 antenna adapters is a high-quality passive component designed for signal conversion in radio, television, and satellite installations. The product allows for converting a standard IEC (female) antenna socket to an F-type (female) socket. This is an ideal solution when there is a need to connect coaxial cables terminated with different types of plugs without the need to modify the wiring. The adapter is used in home RTV installations, cable television systems, and professional distribution networks.
Main features:
- ✔ Solid metal construction ensuring durability and mechanical resistance
- ✔ Precision sockets ensuring a stable connection and minimal signal attenuation
- ✔ Universal compatibility with standard IEC and F plugs
- ✔ Aesthetic silver color matching most installation equipment
- ✔ The set contains 2 pieces of the product, allowing for the support of multiple access points
- ✔ Full compliance with CE European standards and the RoHS directive
Application:
The adapter is mainly used to connect antenna cables to sockets in televisions, DVB-T2 tuners, satellite decoders, and signal amplifiers where there is an inconsistency in connection standards (IEC vs F).

3 Safety Instructions
To ensure safe and reliable operation of the product, the following rules must be followed:
- The product is intended exclusively for transmitting low-voltage signals in antenna installations. It must not be used in mains power circuits.
- The adapter must be protected from direct contact with water, moisture, and extreme temperatures, which can lead to metal corrosion and signal quality degradation.
- Before installation, ensure that the cable plugs are not damaged or contaminated.
- Do not use excessive force when inserting the IEC plug or screwing in the F plug to avoid damaging the internal adapter sockets or the target device.
- Keep the product out of reach of children due to the small size of the components (choking hazard).
4 Installation and Maintenance
Installation:
- Prepare the coaxial cable terminated with an F-type plug (screw-on or crimp) or an IEC antenna plug.
- When connecting to an F-type cable: Screw the male cable plug onto the threaded F-type socket on the adapter until you feel slight resistance.
- When connecting to an IEC socket: Slide the adapter side with the IEC socket onto the male antenna plug or into the socket on the device (depending on the configuration).
- Ensure that the connection is rigid and free of play, which could cause "snow" in the image or signal loss.
Maintenance:
The product does not require specialized maintenance. If signal quality deteriorates after prolonged use, check if any tarnish or dust has appeared on the contacts. Contact surfaces can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol with the RTV devices powered off.
5 Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No signal | Unstable connection or loose F plug. | Check and tighten all mechanical connections. |
| Image interference | Contaminated contacts or damaged cable core. | Clean the adapter contacts; check if the cable core is broken. |
| Adapter does not fit | Attempting to connect with a connector of a different standard (e.g., SMA). | Ensure you are using the IEC and F standards. |
