1 Purpose and Functions

A professional active converter that transforms an analog VGA signal with stereo audio into a digital HDMI 1080p signal. This is an ideal solution for connecting older devices equipped with a VGA output (such as PCs, laptops, and DVRs) to modern digital receivers, including LED/LCD TVs, monitors, and projectors. The device performs advanced hardware conversion, ensuring a crystal-clear Full HD image and full audio-video synchronization without the need for additional software installation.

Connection steps:

1. Ensure that the computer (source) and the TV/monitor (receiver) are turned off.
2. Connect the VGA cable (included in the set) to the VGA output on the computer and to the VGA INPUT port on the converter.
3. Connect the audio cable (Jack - 2x Cinch) to the audio line output on the computer and to the AUDIO INPUT (L/R) ports on the converter.
4. Connect an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI OUTPUT on the converter and to the HDMI input on the receiver.
5. Connect the USB-DC power cable to the power port on the converter and the other end to an available USB port on the computer or an external 5V DC power supply.
6. Turn on the devices. The converter will automatically detect the signal and start scaling to HDMI format.

4 Safety and Maintenance

Safe usage rules:

• The device is intended for indoor use only.
• Protect from moisture, flooding, and direct sunlight.
• Do not power the device with voltage higher than 5V DC. Using an incorrect power supply can lead to permanent damage to the electronics.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the device – do not cover the casing during operation.
• In case of damage to the casing or cables, disconnect the power immediately.
• Do not attempt to independently repair or modify the inside of the device.

Maintenance:

Clean only with a dry, soft cloth. Always disconnect the power before cleaning.
