1 Purpose and Functions

The professional wired ACTii AC2190 alarm system is a complete security kit designed for quick installation and effective property protection. The system is ideal for securing detached houses, garages, offices, and utility rooms. Thanks to the use of a digital PIR motion sensor with pet-immunity and a powerful 110dB acoustic-optical siren, the kit ensures a high level of security while minimizing false alarms.

The system control panel is characterized by high flexibility – it allows for expansion with additional sensors (motion, smoke, gas, reed switches), which enables the installation to be customized to the specific requirements of the facility. The included remote controls offer not only standard arming and disarming functions, but also a panic button for immediate calls for help.

Functionality of remotes and control panel:

The system offers advanced operating modes, including silent arming (without audible siren confirmation) and an anti-burglary mode. The control panel features built-in settings memory, preventing configuration loss after a power outage. The pairing process for new remotes is performed via a code-learning function, which facilitates future expansion of the kit.

3 Installation and Connection Instructions

PIR Sensor Mounting:

The sensor should be mounted on a stable surface at a height of 1.7m to 2.5m. Avoid aiming the sensor directly at windows, heat sources (radiators, air conditioners), and areas with strong drafts. Thanks to digital temperature compensation, the sensor maintains high sensitivity in various conditions; however, optimal performance is achieved when mounted perpendicularly to the intruder's expected path of movement.

Siren Connection:

The external siren should be mounted in a location difficult for unauthorized persons to access, yet visible and audible from a distance. The electronic circuits of the siren (SMD) are protected with a special impregnating agent, allowing operation in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +70°C.

Power Supply Schematic:

The system requires a stabilized 12V DC power supply (not included, model AC9465 recommended). Pay special attention to wire polarity. The set of wires included in the kit is equipped with a fuse to protect the circuit against overload.

4 System Operation

Remote control functions:

• Arming Button: Activates the alarm system. Arming can be confirmed with an audible signal or occur in silent mode.
• Disarming Button: Deactivates the system and turns off the alarm.
• PANIC Button: Immediate activation of the alarm siren in an emergency situation, regardless of whether the system is armed.
• LED: Each press of a button is signaled by a flash on the remote, confirming the signal has been sent to the control panel.

Kit Expansion:

The control panel works with a wide range of additional accessories. You can connect to it:

• Additional PIR sensors (models: AC8378, AC3431, AC8336)
• Magnetic window/door opening sensors (models: AC3849, AC7063)
• Smoke sensors (model: AC1439)

5 Safety and Maintenance

Safety rules:

• Installation should be performed with the power disconnected.
• Use only power supplies with parameters compliant with the specification (12V DC). Using higher voltage power supplies can permanently damage the device.
• Protect the device from direct exposure to strong electromagnetic fields, which can interfere with the operation of wireless sensors.
• Regularly check the battery status in the remote controls. A weak battery can significantly reduce operating range.
• It is recommended to test the system performance once a month by triggering a test alarm.

Maintenance:

Keep the PIR sensor clean. Dust or spiderwebs on the Fresnel lens can limit the detection range. Clean only with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents.
