1 Purpose and Functions

The ACTii AC3000 switching power supply is a high-quality, reliable power device designed to work with equipment requiring a stable 12V DC voltage. With a current capacity of 3A (3000mA), this power supply can power a wide range of electronic devices, particularly industrial television (CCTV) systems. The design of the power supply ensures voltage stabilization, which protects connected devices from voltage fluctuations in the power grid. The product features solid workmanship and is ready for use with most industrial cameras available on the market without the need for additional adapters.

Connector and polarity information:

The power supply is equipped with a standard 2.1mm / 5.5mm DC plug located on a 1.1m long cable. Plug polarity is crucial for device safety: minus (-) is on the outside of the plug, while plus (+) is inside the plug. Before connecting, ensure that the target device has an identical polarity configuration.

To ensure safe and reliable use of the power supply, follow the safety rules below in accordance with EU standards:

• Application: The power supply is intended exclusively for indoor use in dry areas. Do not expose the device to rain, moisture, or flooding.
• Load: Do not exceed the maximum output current (3A). Overloading the power supply may lead to damage or overheating.
• Ventilation: The power supply may heat up during operation. Ensure free air circulation around the housing and do not cover the device.
• Mains voltage: Before connecting, ensure that the electrical network parameters match the specification (100-240V AC).
• Maintenance: Never open the power supply housing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Opening the housing poses a risk of electric shock and voiding the warranty.
• Damage: If the power cord or housing is damaged, disconnect the device from the power supply immediately and stop using it.

4 Installation and Usage Instructions

Step 1: Verification of the receiving device

Check the rating plate of the device you want to power. It must require 12V DC voltage, and its current consumption must not exceed 3000mA (3A). Also check if the socket in the device matches the 2.1/5.5mm plug and if the polarity is correct (plus inside).

Step 2: Connecting the power supply

1. Connect the included power cord to the socket in the power supply (if it is not permanently attached).
2. Insert the power cord plug into the 230V mains socket.
3. Connect the DC plug of the power supply to the power socket in the target device (e.g., a camera).

Step 3: Troubleshooting

• Device does not turn on: Check if the LED on the power supply (if present) is lit and if all plugs are fully inserted.
• Power supply is very hot: Check if the connected device is not drawing more than 3A of current.
• Interference in the camera image: Ensure that the power supply is not located too close to unshielded signal cables.

Warranty:

The product is covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage or damage resulting from improper use (e.g., overloading or flooding).
