The durable, outdoor PAN TILT positioner model ACTii AC3362 is a professional positioning device designed for the most demanding environmental conditions. The device integrates an advanced RS485 decoder based on a PIC series microcontroller, allowing for precise horizontal and vertical movement control using standard Pelco-D and Pelco-P protocols.
The primary purpose of the positioner is to support CCTV industrial television systems (analog and HD cameras), precisely position solar panels to optimize energy yield, and steer other measuring or transmission devices with a mass not exceeding 10 kg. Thanks to its aluminum alloy construction and IP66 ingress protection rating, the device is completely resistant to dust, heavy rain, corrosion, and extreme temperatures.

3 Installation and Connection
Control methods:
The following devices supporting the RS485 standard can be used to operate the positioner:
- Control keyboard: Model ACTii AC4322 (recommended for manual control).
- DVR/NVR recorder: Any recorder equipped with an RS485 output and support for the Pelco protocol.
- PC computer: Using dedicated software and a USB to RS485 converter (e.g., model ACTii AC2248).
Electrical connection:
The device requires a stable DC 12V power supply. Special attention should be paid to the polarity when connecting the power supply and the RS485 communication cables (A+ and B-). The positioner has power connectors for the camera and lens control, which significantly simplifies installation on masts.
4 Safety Instructions and Maintenance
IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
- Installation should be performed by a qualified technician in accordance with EU safety standards.
- Do not exceed the maximum load of 10 kg, as this may lead to permanent damage to the gearbox mechanism.
- Before starting installation work, ensure that the power supply is disconnected.
- The device must be securely mounted to the ground or mast to avoid vibrations during operation in strong winds.
Maintenance:
The positioner is designed as a maintenance-free device, however, in harsh conditions (high dust, salinity), it is recommended to periodically check the cleanliness of the housing and the stability of the mechanical mounts. The IP66 protection rating ensures tightness, but do not direct high-pressure water jets directly at the rotary axis seals.
