1 Purpose and Functions

The ACTii AC9731 metal adjustable mount is a professional installation accessory designed for stable mounting of industrial cameras in IP, AHD, and CCTV systems. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, such as enamelled steel and stainless steel, the mount ensures reliability in both indoor and outdoor installations. The design is characterized by a wide base that guarantees a secure support for the device, and a head that allows a full range of rotation, which allows for precise adjustment of the camera's field of view to the requirements of the monitored object.

2 Technical Specification

3 Installation and Mounting

Proper mounting of the holder is crucial for ensuring image stability and device safety. Follow these steps:

1. Surface preparation: Choose a stable, flat surface (wall, ceiling, soffit). Ensure the mounting location can support the weight of the mount along with the camera.
2. Marking holes: Place the base of the holder against the surface and mark the spots for three mounting holes (spacing 62mm).
3. Drilling: Drill holes with a diameter corresponding to the included wall plugs.
4. Fixing the base: Insert the wall plugs into the holes, position the mount, and screw it in firmly using the provided screws.
5. Camera mounting: Screw the camera onto the tripod screw located on the head of the mount. Use the stainless steel locking nut to secure the camera in the desired position.
6. Adjustment: Loosen the adjustment screws using the provided Allen key, set the desired tilt and rotation angle (360° range), and then tighten the screws firmly to lock the position.

4 Safety and Maintenance

Safety principles:

• The mount must be used strictly in accordance with its purpose.
• Do not exceed the permissible load of the mount (dedicated to standard CCTV cameras).
• Before starting installation, ensure that there are no electrical wires or hydraulic pipes running in the drilling area.
• In case of outdoor mounting, ensure that all screws are tightened to prevent loosening due to wind or vibration.

Maintenance:

• It is recommended to periodically check the stability of the mounting and adjustment screws (once every 6 months).
• Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive chemical agents that could damage the enamelled coating.
