1 Purpose and Functions
Premium quality 35mm fixed focal length glass lens designed for professional CCTV surveillance systems. The product is engineered for megapixel cameras with a resolution of up to 5MP, providing exceptional image detail and precise long-distance zoom. Thanks to high-class glass optics in a metal housing, the lens guarantees proper sharpness not only in the center but also in the corners of the image, which is crucial for HD IP and AHD monitoring and identification systems.
Main features:
- ✔ Lens made of high-quality glass and metal components, ensuring durability and optical precision.
- ✔ Full compatibility with megapixel cameras: HD 5MP, 4MP, 3MP, 2MP, 1MP, and analog cameras.
- ✔ Fixed 35mm focal length with advanced infrared correction, ideal for day/night operation.
- ✔ Uniform sharpness across the entire frame, eliminating blurring in the corners.
- ✔ Integrated infrared filter ensuring optimal and natural color reproduction.
Important lighting information:
In conditions of very strong sunlight, to achieve ideal color reproduction, it is recommended to use an additional IR 650 filter (model ACTii AC6508), which is mounted on the rear of the lens.

3 Installation and Usage
Lens mounting:
The lens features a standard M12x0.5 mount, commonly used in board cameras. To install the device:
- Ensure the camera power is disconnected before replacing the optics.
- Unscrew the previous lens from the camera board mounting socket.
- Carefully screw the new 35mm lens into the threaded socket.
- Connect the camera to a monitor/recorder to get a live view.
- Adjust the focus by slowly screwing or unscrewing the lens in the socket until a perfectly clear image is obtained.
- If the socket has a locking screw, tighten it gently to secure the lens in the chosen position.
Infrared correction:
The lens is equipped with a lens system that compensates for chromatic aberration for infrared radiation. This means the focus point does not shift when the camera switches to night mode (IR lighting), which eliminates the problem of blurry images at night.
4 Safety and Maintenance
Safety rules:
- The product is intended for indoor camera housing installation or in a controlled environment. Protect from direct exposure to water and extreme humidity, unless the camera housing provides an appropriate ingress protection rating (IP66/67).
- Do not touch the glass surface of the lenses with your fingers. Grease and dirt can permanently degrade image quality.
- When cleaning, use only specialized microfiber cloths or optical brushes.
- Avoid exposing the lens to strong mechanical shocks, which could damage the precise lens system.
Compliance and disposal:
The device meets the requirements of European Union directives, confirmed by CE and RoHS certificates. Do not dispose of the product with municipal waste after its service life. It should be handed over to an appropriate electronic equipment collection point.
