3 Installation Instructions
Installation Steps:
- Location Selection: Select a stable surface (wall or ceiling). Ensure that no electrical wires or pipes run where you are drilling.
- Marking Holes: Place the mount base on the surface and mark the spots for the 3 mounting holes (30 mm spacing).
- Drilling: Drill holes with a diameter appropriate for the included expansion plugs.
- Securing the Base: Insert the plugs into the holes, place the mount, and screw it in firmly using the included screws.
- Mounting the Camera: Screw the Google Nest Cam onto the mount thread.
- Adjustment: Loosen the locking ring on the ball joint, set the desired camera viewing angle, and then firmly tighten the ring to lock the position.
4 Safety and Maintenance
Safety Rules:
- Do not exceed the maximum load of 4 kg.
- Ensure the mounting base is attached to a material of appropriate strength (concrete, brick, solid wood).
- For installation on facades with insulation, use specialized plugs for polystyrene (not included).
- Protect the product from contact with aggressive chemical substances that could damage the enamelled coating.
Maintenance:
- Check the stability of the mounting screws and the ball joint locking ring every six months.
- If dirty, clean the mount with a soft, damp cloth without using strong detergents.
- Regularly check the metal surface for mechanical chips that could lead to point corrosion.
