1 Purpose and Functions
The ACTii AC9905 industrial camera is an advanced 4-in-1 monitoring device that combines AHD, CVI, TVI, and analog CVBS technologies. Thanks to its miniature, robust enameled metal housing, the device is designed for operation in harsh conditions, particularly inside vehicles such as buses, trucks, tractors, excavators, bulldozers, or cranes. It is also excellent for use in driving school cars and building monitoring.
The camera's construction allows for discreet installation – the body of the device can be hidden behind vehicle upholstery or drywall in rooms, leaving only the lens visible. High sensor sensitivity (0.01 LUX) and day/night mode ensure correct visibility even in poor lighting conditions.

Important information about image format:
The camera is set to the AHD image format by default. If it is necessary to change the format to analog CVBS, CVI, or TVI, reconfiguration is required before installation.

3 Installation and Connection
Mechanical installation
The camera features a miniature "cube" type housing, which allows for installation in confined spaces. Due to its vandal-resistant construction and protection against unauthorized rotation, the device is ideal for public transport vehicles and construction machinery.
Electrical connection
- Power supply: Connect a 12V DC power supply to the 2.1/5.5mm socket. Power consumption is approximately 150mA. Ensure that the polarity is correct (plus inside the plug).
- Video signal: Connect a coaxial cable or twisted pair cable (using appropriate video transmitters) to the signal connector.
- Focus adjustment: The camera allows for manual focus adjustment by rotating the lens. Once an optimal image is obtained, lock the lens in position.
4 Safety and Maintenance
Safe operation rules
- The device must be powered exclusively by 12V DC stabilized voltage. Exceeding this voltage may lead to permanent damage to the electronics.
- Installation work should be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with electrical safety standards applicable in the EU.
- Do not expose the device to direct extreme temperatures outside the operating range.
- If installed in vehicles, ensure that the cables are secured against abrasion and do not restrict the driver's visibility.
Maintenance
The camera lens should be kept clean. Use only soft microfiber cloths and agents designed for optics for cleaning. Avoid strong detergents, which can damage the anti-reflective coatings of the lens or the enamel of the housing.
