1 Purpose and Functions
The ACTii AC2116 wireless alarm system is an advanced solution designed to increase security and access control in various facilities, such as private homes, offices, warehouses, or commercial spaces. The system is based on wireless communication between components, which eliminates the need for complex cabling. At the heart of the system is a 110dB loud alarm siren, which effectively deters intruders and notifies the surrounding area of a breach in the protected zone.
The device is characterized by its versatility – it can operate in alarm mode, protecting property from theft, or in doorbell/chime mode, notifying you of a customer entering a store. Thanks to the possibility of expansion with additional sensors, the system can be precisely adapted to the specifics of the protected object.
Main features:
- ✔ 110dB loud alarm siren, effectively shocking thieves and notifying users or neighbors
- ✔ Enables improved security and access control to rooms.
- ✔ Included PIR motion detector and magnetic sensor for securing doors and windows
- ✔ Full wireless communication between system components
- ✔ Included remote control allows you to arm and disarm the alarm as well as trigger the alarm in case of danger
- ✔ Ability to connect up to 32 wireless sensors (available in the offer)
- ✔ Included strong adhesive tapes for quick installation
- ✔ Built-in LED diode signals the current operating status of the device
- ✔ Guest notification function (chime) perfect for retail applications
- ✔ Low power consumption ensuring long battery life
- ✔ Small size facilitating discreet hiding of system elements
- ✔ Possibility to expand with additional PIR and magnetic sensors
Remote control and operating modes:
The system is operated via a remote control that features dedicated buttons for arming and disarming the system. An additional doorbell button allows for immediate switching of the device into home chime mode – after pressing it, the siren emits a pleasant acoustic signal instead of an alarm. In emergency situations, the user can use the emergency alarm function (SOS), activated directly from the remote control.

Installation instructions:
- Magnetic sensor: Mount the larger element on the door/window frame, and the magnet on the moving leaf. Ensure that the gap between them does not exceed 20mm in the closed position.
- PIR sensor: Place the sensor in a location providing optimal area coverage (110° angle). Avoid pointing the sensor directly at heat sources or windows.
- Siren: Connect the siren to power using the included adapter. You can mount it on the wall or hide it in a safe place.
- Mounting: Use the included adhesive tapes for quick installation or screws (not included) for permanent mounting.
4 User Manual and Configuration
Remote control operating modes:
Arming (Arm):
Activates the alarm system. Triggering any sensor will sound the 110dB siren.
Disarming (Disarm):
Deactivates sensors and turns off an ongoing alarm.
Emergency Alarm (SOS):
Immediate activation of the siren to call for help.
Doorbell Function (Gong):
Switches the system to acoustic notification mode (ideal for shops).
System expansion:
The device supports up to 32 wireless accessories. To add a new sensor, follow the pairing procedure described in the full technical documentation, putting the siren into learning mode and activating the given sensor.
5 Safety Rules and Maintenance
Power supply: Use only the included mains power adapter. Before replacing batteries in sensors (9V for PIR, AAA for magnetic), ensure the system is disarmed.
Operating conditions: Despite a wide temperature range (-25°C to +85°C), protect the central unit and sensors from direct exposure to extreme weather conditions and water flooding.
Maintenance: It is recommended to test the system once a month by triggering a test alarm. Regularly check the condition of the batteries in the sensors – a low battery may cause false alarms or lack of system response.
Compliance: The product meets European CE standards and the ROHS directive on the restriction of hazardous substances in electronic equipment.
NOTE:
The 110dB volume is very high and may cause hearing damage upon direct contact. Do not test the siren in close proximity to ears.
