Other information
After your transmission has been rebuilt, we recommend implementing two key improvements to maximize the life of your new components:
Replacing the oil drain plug: We recommend replacing the original plug with one with a strong neodymium magnet, such as the ACTii AC6007. The magnet effectively traps metal filings circulating in the oil, protecting the bearings from premature wear.
Using high-quality oil: We recommend using RED LINE MT-LV 70W/75W gear oil. It offers significantly better performance than the original oil, especially stable viscosity at high operating temperatures, which is crucial for bearing protection. As a fully synthetic oil, it retains its properties for a long time. The gear box holds approximately 1.1L of oil, so you should purchase two bottles (2 x 0.94L).
