Transmission over twisted pair is a modern and economical solution in video surveillance systems, allowing for the transmission of video, audio, and even power (PoC - Power over Coaxial / UTP) using standard network cable (UTP Cat. 5e/6). It is an excellent alternative to traditional coaxial cables, especially over longer distances.

• Interference Reduction: Video baluns (converters) effectively eliminate interference and noise, ensuring a clear and stable image.
• Versatility: A single UTP cable, which has 4 pairs of wires, can transmit signals from up to 4 cameras (using the appropriate baluns).
• Cost-Effective: Twisted-pair cable is often cheaper and more readily available than high-quality coaxial cable.
