This category includes EURO plugs, sockets, and adapters, also known as SCART. Although this is an older generation standard, it is still necessary for connecting classic RTV devices such as VCRs, DVD players, satellite decoders, or game consoles to older TV models.

Types of EURO Connectors

• Solder-type EURO plugs: Allow for DIY repair of damaged cables or creation of custom connections.
• EURO sockets: For panel mounting in devices or as a spare part.
• Adapters and converters: Allow for converting the EURO signal to other standards, e.g., EURO to 3xRCA (Cinch) + S-Video, often with an IN/OUT switch, enabling bidirectional signal transmission.
