Plugs Sockets Connectors SMA SMB SMC

Professional Coaxial Connectors SMA, SMB, SMC

This category includes high-frequency (RF) coaxial connectors of the SMA, SMB, and SMC type. These are specialized components used for transmitting radio signals, most often in communication devices, modems, routers, and measurement equipment.

Connector Characteristics

  • SMA (SubMiniature version A) Connectors: The most popular in this group. They feature a threaded housing that provides a very solid and stable mechanical connection and excellent electrical parameters (up to 18 GHz). Commonly used for connecting external antennas in:
    • LTE / 4G / 5G routers and modems.
    • Wi-Fi routers (especially older or high-power ones).
    • GPS receivers.
    • Amateur radio equipment (e.g., handheld radios).

Important: They come in two versions: SMA (with a pin in the center) and RP-SMA (Reverse Polarity) (with a hole in the center), which are standard in Wi-Fi equipment. These two types are not compatible with each other!

  • SMB (SubMiniature version B) Connectors: Smaller than SMA, they have a "push-on" (snap) connection, allowing for quick connection and disconnection. Used inside telecommunications and measurement devices.
  • SMC (SubMiniature version C) Connectors: Similar in size to SMB, but have a threaded connector (smaller than SMA). They provide better mechanical stability than SMB.

Our Offer

At Actii.pl you will find:

  • SMA / RP-SMA Plugs and Sockets: For soldering onto a cable (e.g., RG174, RG58) or for panel mounting in an enclosure.
  • Adapters and Converters: Allow for connecting different standards, e.g., SMA to F, SMA to N, SMA to BNC, as well as SMA "barrels".
  • Antenna Pigtails: Short cables (e.g., U.FL to SMA) used to lead the antenna connector from inside the device (e.g., from a miniPCIe card in a laptop) to the outside of the case.

Choose professional SMA and RP-SMA connectors from Actii.pl to ensure a reliable connection for your Wi-Fi, LTE, and GPS antennas.
